Meet Our Faculty - Tim Neumann
Tim Neumann serves as an instructor in the Forensic and Police Programs of the International Academy of Public Safety, specializing in the Crash Scene Investigations discipline.
Mr. Neumann holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of California, Santa Barbara and has been actively investigating automobile collisions since 1998.
Holding the rank of Sergeant, Mr. Neumann is currently the Supervisor of a Multi-disciplinary Accident Investigation Team (MAIT) in San Luis Obispo and has over five years of experience in Collision Reconstruction. He has testified as an expert witness in collision reconstruction in several counties within California.
As a public safety officer, Mr. Neumann has served in several capacities to include Analyst in the Office of Internal, as a subject matter expert for surreptitious recording, and accident review officer. He has authored departmental policy and legislative proposals relative to alcohol impaired driving in California.
Mr. Neumann is a fully accredited Accident Reconstructionist by the internationally recognized Accreditation Commission for Traffic Accident Reconstruction as well as in California since 2005. He is also a member of the Central Coast Collision Investigation Consultants based in Paso Robles, California, and is a POST-certified academy instructor in the state of California.
Mr. Neumann has been an adjunct instructor in traffic collision investigation for the Allan Hancock College Administration of Justice Program in Santa Maria, California since 2007 and has been an active speaker at collision investigation meetings and conferences in California.
Mr. Neumann is an active member of the California Association of Accident Reconstruction Specialists (CA2RS), has been recognized by Mothers Against Drunk Driving (M.A.D.D.) for impaired driving arrests.
